Format

Each team will consist of two people.  The length of the league will be determined once the number of teams entered is finalized.

The league will start January 7th for men and January 8th for women.

Each person will be required to set up and go to the Dockside Entertainment Clubhouse.  Setup your Dockside Simulator Club House Account here:  https://dockside.hdgolf.com/

Scoring

9-hole team scramble each week.  Teams are then assigned championship points for each week based on their score that week (12 points for the top score that week in a 12-team league, 11 points for second and so on). For the playoffs, the format transitions to head-to-head team match-play, with teams facing each other in knockout rounds based on seeding from their regular season point totals. It all culminates with a final showdown between the last two teams standing.  In this format, teams can play alone or with another team a simulator bay.  You can complete your match at any time during the week.  Men matches must be completed by Sunday while women matches must be completed by Monday before the previous week starts.

Handicap

For the first league format, handicaps will not be used to start out with but will be collected as league matches are completed.

Game Settings

• Auto Gimme:  off
• Putting:  12FT gimmes set on each game.
• Tees:  select the white team box for men, red tee box for women.

Additional Rules and Information

• Current league is for players 18 years or older.
• Main day of play for men will be Tuesday but the match can play any time before Sunday.
• Main day of play for women will be Wednesday but can play any time before Monday.
• The pace of play should be about 90 minutes; you can block off a two-hour time block for the league match rate.  You must call or stop in at the front desk to reserve.
• Scheduling issues- if a team cannot make their scheduled league play, they will report a zero score for that week and will not collect any points.
• Subs will be allowed but subs cannot be on another team playing in the league in the same week.  So if a person played for team X week 1 they cannot play for team Y week 1.
• When a player completely shanks and the simulator does not pick up a ball, the player must select to drop +1.  You will still be able to use your partner’s ball in a scramble format.
• When a player hits a ball but the simulator bay malfunctions, it will be up to the opposing team if the player can take a mulligan. Please be courteous and respectful.

Dockside League Night Rates Per Person

Member

 $15/league night

Non-Member

$20/league night

League Team Fee = $100 per team

League team fee will be paid out 100% in prize money at the end of the league.

Concession

Concession will be open on Tuesday and Wednesday night.  No outside food or drinks are allowed.  Any team bringing in outside food or drinks will take a forfeit or zero score on their league match for that week.
